Traditional portable GPS devices tend to have small screens that make reading the information very difficult. In-car GPS systems, on the other hand, are usually affixed to the front of a vehicle as such that they create reflections on the windshield and block drivers' view, thus threatening road safety. Noahpad UMPC comes with a specially designed stand; when used along with the computer's rotational feature, it serves as a GPS device with a 7” big screen that is adjustable to avoid blocking drivers' view. (For Noahpad UMPC to function as a GPS device, a separate Bluetooth or USB GPS receiver is required. As an in-car GPS system, it requires a USB 3.5G receiver or WiMax receiver.)
